چکیده

To obtain the coordinates by means of precise point positioning (PPP) technique we need to use the undifferenced GPS pseudocode and carrier phase observations but to obtain the “precise” positioning we need precise orbit and clock data too. This products and other information for obtaining the results by using PPP technique on a centimeter level accuracy can be downloaded from different locations, but the most reliable satellite ephemerides and clock correction are available from International GNSS Service (IGS). In the PPP analysis we determined the parameters such as the receiver clock error, ionospheric delays code biases, code multipath and the total neutral atmosphere delay of the observations. For the determination of the permanent station coordinates, using the PPP technique, we used precise orbit and clock solutions to enable absolute positioning of a single receiver. In this article we present the results obtained by using the PPP technique on the permanent station Oradea, from which we can conclude that the PPP technique can be used for different GNSS application.

Investigation of MODIS mission capability in tropospheric delay estimation for precise point positioning

Tropospheric delay is always considered as one of the factors limiting the accuracy of GPS. In this paper, the three-dimensional ray tracing technique is proposed to calculate the tropospheric delay. The ability of the MODIS mission to calculate the tropospheric delay is also examined. For this purpose, an area in central Europe was selected and a MODIS acquisition on 2008/08/01 was studied. In...

Accuracy Improvement of Tropospheric Delay Interpolation in RTK Networks

The effect of troposphere on the signals emitted from global navigation satellite system (GNSS) satellites, appears as an extra delay in the measurement of the signal traveling from the satellite to receiver. This delay depends on the temperature, pressure, humidity as well as the transmitter and receiver antennas location. In GNSS positioning, tropospheric delay effects on accuracy of differen...

Inter-Pseudolite Range Augmented GNSS PPP Navigation for Airborne Pseudolite System

Ground-based pseudolite navigation systems have several limitations, such as low vertical accuracy, susceptibility to multipath effects, and near-far signal problems. These limitations could be addressed with an airborne pseudolite system. However, to ensure high user positioning accuracy the aerial signal transmitters have to be accurately positioned. Commonly used methods are based on the “in...

Mitigating Gnss Positioning Errors Due to Atmospheric Signal Delays

There are some fundamental limitations on positioning accuracy using satellite navigation technique. Several sources of errors limit the accuracy of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) positioning. The errors due to the earth’s atmosphere have the largest value and must be significantly reduced in order to achieve more precise positioning results. The GNSS-based determination of the posit...

Integrated GNSS Attitude Determination and Positioning for Direct Geo-Referencing

Direct geo-referencing is an efficient methodology for the fast acquisition of 3D spatial data. It requires the fusion of spatial data acquisition sensors with navigation sensors, such as Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers. In this contribution, we consider an integrated GNSS navigation system to provide estimates of the position and attitude (orientation) of a 3D laser scanner...
